USMLErx is a step-studying resource that gives access to practice questions and the current first aid book. This resource contains quality practice questions and the ability to create tests that will ask questions about only certain topics so you can focus your studying. Not a necessary resource for any particular block first year, but can be helpful.

The questions are tied into first-aid, so information and review from questions is high-yield. If you absolutely need practice questions, this is a great place to get them from aside from other resources that are much more cost-effective like the BRS textbooks. The authors recommend waiting to buy this until you’re closer to studying for step 1, as the questions are geared toward step 1. We personally purchased subscriptions in Block 3, but timing is different for everyone.
